To mark the National Day of Reflection on Organ Donation and Transplantation and in recognition of donors, the patients' association FRANCE ADOT 91 and the Clinique Pasteur are joining forces on 22 June to organise an information and awareness day for the general public.
We look forward to seeing you from 10am in the lobby of the clinic, 17 avenue de Rigny, where we'll be setting up an information stand to answer all your questions!
It is possible to donate an organ or tissue during your lifetime or after your death. Allowing your organs or tissues to be removed after your death is an act of generosity and solidarity. This gesture saves lives. Organ donation is possible at any age.
Living organ donation accounts for 9% of all transplants, mainly involving one of the two kidneys.
More than 27,000 people are waiting for transplants every year. More than 9,000 will die before receiving a transplant.
